Bespoke Home Bars and Games Rooms
Home Bar and Party room in Oxted
The brief: Create a grown up Party Room and Bar with space to dance! Why? because our clients enjoy playing pool and darts, dancing after dinner and a cocktail or two! We went to town with luxury soft furnishings which included retro wallpaper in brown and bronze, and bespoke curtains made from a bronze metallic linen. Working with Nathan Kingsbury, we created a fantastic 'spoon' shaped bar which was painted in high gloss chocolate brown and this was topped with a ceramic work surface which appears as rusted metal.
We sourced a stunning feature pendant light from CTO in bronze and brass which is suspended over the end of the bar. A pool table was custom covered with saffron coloured baize, and a bespoke dart board cupboard completed the furniture. Specialist lighting systems were installed to light both the bar (around and underneath) and the area reserved for dancing - which comes complete with disco ball and multi-coloured recessed down-lights!
Reigate Media Room
The brief: Create a richly coloured interior design scheme for newly converted TV and Media room. The room is naturally dark with unusual gothic windows and the client was keen to inject some vibrant colours. We commissioned a room wide bespoke sofa and covered it in a rich fuschia pink chenille – together with luxury soft furnishings in the form of richly textured coordinating cushions and a bespoke ottoman. Walls, ceiling and window frames were all painted in Silt from Little Greene Paint company – which created an ideal ‘cinema’ feel to the room.
Reigate Games Room and Home Gym
The brief: Create a home gym and yoga studio and create space to display the client’s road bike collection in Reigate, Surrey. Our interior design philosophy is to enable our clients to love living in their houses. In this case a little used dining room in our client’s house has been converted to a yoga studio, home gym and somewhere to showcase a much loved collection of road bikes from boutique manufacturer Parlee too pretty to put in the shed.
Teenage Den in a Surrey Attic
The brief: Turn a little used attic into a teenage den. This was the ideal space, not just for TV and entertaining, but an additional room beyond the bookshelves could be equipped with a bespoke pool table too. This room was being furnished to a tight budget so rather than building new, we simply painted the existing wall units in a smart dark grey. An American Black Walnut floor and retro leather furniture are accented with bespoke brightly coloured floor cushions.
