Bespoke Kitchen Design

Chic Industrial Bespoke Kitchen

The brief: Completely renovate a traditional scheme and design a chic, industrial style bespoke kitchen in conjunction with Nathan Kingsbury in a converted coach-house; Reigate, Surrey.  Using a combination of high gloss spray painted units with matt Alpi veneer and white quartz work tops, the industrial feel was created with large chrome extractor fans and metal ducting, together with huge vintage factory lights sourced from Trainspotters.  The hard lines were softened from the curved black walnut breakfast stools. Seamless design was created with the high gloss cupboards made to the same height as the tall industrial American style stainless steel fridge from Fisher and Paykel, made possible due to the high ceiling.  Other aspects of the design include a huge larder cupboard, wine cooler and original 1970s aga with feature hand made Moroccan tiles.

Contemporary High Gloss Kitchen

The brief: Create a sleek bespoke modern kitchen from architects’ plans for a new-build townhouse in Reigate, Surrey.  We designed this kitchen and family room with Nathan Kingsbury to provide the maximum of storage, together with the facility to eat at the island unit and at a separate dining table. Pale quartz worktops and high gloss units near the windows reflect light. A stark contrast is provided by a wrap around dark porcelain work surface on the island unit, which appears as aged metal. The large format floor tiles contain flashes of glitter. We sourced a beautiful embroidered linen from Threads, with flashes of silver which is used as roman blinds throughout the kitchen and living space.
